My passion for cars began very early
Since I could speak, there was a lot for me to talk about: I talked about the car brand names and matched them to their logos.
I loved long car rides and played with all kind of cars: Matchbox, Lego, RC cars …
and one day:
We were driving on the highway and there was a rally-stage on the field behind the guard rail.
There was a whole lot of dust and. I couldn’t quite believe that they were driving faster than us.
And from there on the goal was clear:
I am gonna be a racing driver!
It was 2022. First I began with rental karting, on all tracks, even new ones, I was quick from the beginning. The marshals notice this immediately and encouraged me to pursue my dream. On the Spreewaldring Kart Center I am holding the track record since may 2025.
For some drivers are achievements in SimRacing the gateway to the real world of motorsport, maybe for me too?
I made space in my room, sold all the kids stuff and wished for money on birthdays and christmas. And sooner rather than later I owned a PC for SimRacing. Nowadays I have a high-end SimRig and since late 2023, I am participating in semi-professional races on multiple platforms.
Start of 2024 I founded my own SimRacing team Vin Motorsport, for which I am currently racing myself. We are an international community with 15 drivers in the main team and around 10 drivers in the academy, who I am supporting with my SimRacing-Coaching .
For some sprint and endurances races, which we host as a community I mostly take the role of race control.
I already earned myself a fair amount of SimRacing achievements, one for example is the G61 trackrecord for the GT3 class on the Nürburgring GP Track Grand Prix layout. Currently I am ranked 5th highest on the platform Pitskill with over 40k drivers and I have yet to stop climbing in the elo-rating.
Onto the racetrack – step by step
II train with the Spreewaldring Kartingschool under the supervision of Oliver Rodig and David Böhrke. With those two and Tassilo Budde, I also absolved my two-week long school internship at the Spreewaldring Training Center. I learned there and next to the track loads of things and came a step closer to achieving my goals.
In June of 2025 I turned 15 years old and did my racinglicense course NAT.A at the Motorsport Academie with Christopher Bartz at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. He suggested Patrick Marquardt as the next step, and so it was. He got me the opportunity to drive a BMW 318ti CUP in the NATC Youngster Cup. In the first races on the real racetrack in march 2026, even with the car suffering major technical problems could still show my potential and bring my SimRacing achievements onto the real racetrack. I know the ideal lines, braking points, drive fair, and avoid contacts as much as possible, I know where a move can be made and which moves are sensible.
Now I am very much exited for my next steps in the world of motorsport.
